Job Description

What will you be doing? We’re expanding our team at our Brookvale Depot. If you’re personable, a go getter, and not afraid to get down and dirty, then this role is perfect for you.

Reporting to the Depot Supervisor, this role is responsible for day-to-day operations of TOMRA Bulk Depots and enhancing the TOMRA customer experience. A typical day as a TOMRA Depot operator will see you greeting our customers and providing information on the Return and Earn scheme, assisting customers from their vehicles to our reverse vending machines, and performing general cleaning and maintenance. Beyond the day-to-day, we’re looking for someone who can work autonomously, be a friendly face for our customers and make our depots the pillar of the town.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide information on the Return and Earn scheme.
- Assist customers from their vehicles to our reverse vending machines.
- General cleaning and maintenance of depot facilities.
- Operate autonomously and be a friendly, reliable representative of TOMRA.

Frequently Asked Questions

- Pay rate for adults is paid at Level 2 Waste Management Award.
- Federal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.

Qualifications

- Customer service experience
- Cleaning or maintenance experience
- High level of communication (verbal and written)
- First aid and/or fire warden certification
