Mandalay Apartments in Port Douglas is seeking an experienced, hands-onGroundskeeperto keep our established tropical gardens and common areas looking their best.
What you'll do (key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to):
Mowing, edging, weeding, mulching andsafe weed control(including responsible herbicide use).
Basic irrigation repairs and adjustments (Mandalay has a brand new irrigation system throughout).
Pool testing, cleaning and general upkeep of pool surrounds.
Cleaning and presentation of common areas (BBQs, stairwells, tennis court, walkways).
Keeping work sheds, tools and equipmenttidy and in positive working order.
Putting bins out for collection and completing aweekly bin clean.
Assisting guests and owners with luggage and occasional on-site requests.
Liaising with Reception to report maintenance issues and request supplies.
About you:
Physically fit, reliable, self-starter who takes pride in presentation.




Experience in lawn/garden maintenance or groundskeeping (resort or strata preferred).
Comfortable with pool care basics (or willing to learn).
Protected operator with chemicals, power tools and small machinery.
Current driver's licence preferred.
Must havefull, unrestricted work rights in Australia.
Hours & roster:Approximately* hours per week(typical shifts are5–8 hours; some early starts and occasional weekend work may be required).

Pay:Casual hourly rate + super (commensurate with experience).
