As a Chef, you will play a key role in the daily operation of our kitchen ensuring meals are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining food safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and menu specifications
Assist in planning, developing and updating seasonal menus and daily specials.
Monitor portion control and food preparation procedures to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards, HACCP principles, and Workplace Health and Safety WHS regulations.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
Oversee food storage and stock rotation.




Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated safely, maintained correctly and reported for repair when necessary.
Maintain accurate records relating to food safety, temperature control, cleaning schedules and stock management.
Respond promptly to customer dietary requirements, allergies and special requests.
Contribute to a positive, qualified, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have
Certificate IV in Commercial Cooking or equivalent.
Food Handlers Certificate.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
What we offer
Market-competitive salary AUD $75,000 - $85,000.
