About the role
DT and S Contracting' is seeking enthusiastic civil labourers to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry-leading construction and contracting company working within the green energy sector.
The successful candidates will play a key role in executing essential construction activities on site.
This is an exciting entry level position and a great chance to get your foot in the door to civil construction.
The role is on a casual basis 10 hr days (overtime paid) monday to friday for a 6 week project with the possibility for on-going work for the right applicant.
What you'll be doing
Performing skilled labour tasks such as operating hand and power tools, reading plans and specifications, and assisting with the construction and installation of various structures
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
Proficient in the secure operation of hand and power tools, as well as a general understanding of excavation equipment
Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
White card essential
Must be able to pass regular and random drug and alcohol testing
