Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering protected, high-quality nursing care while promoting the health, wellbeing, and independence of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Administer medications and treatments safely.
Monitor and report changes in clients' health conditions.
Provide wound care and dressing changes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Educate and support clients and their families.
Work collaboratively with doctors and the multidisciplinary team.
Follow infection control, workplace health and safety, and organisational policies.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR when required.
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses (ENs), Assistants in Nursing (AINs),
and Support Workers where appropriate.
Qualifications:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
National Police Check and Working with Children Check (if required).
Current driver's licence (if required for community roles).
