Based out of our workshop in Edinburgh, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to support operations for our poly team.
This role will suit an all-rounder with a strong work ethic, who is keen to work alongside our qualified trades.
You'll have the prospect to learn all aspects of poly welding, with upskilling available to candidates who show initiative and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist trades and operators with general labouring assistance.
Operating hand and power tools.
Lifting and transporting items using forklift and/or other equipment.
Ensuring outgoing stock/job materials are sighted, outgoing goods procedures are followed while maintaining appropriate records.
Ensuring workshop or worksite is clean and maintained.
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
Drivers licence with reliable transport
Current White Card
Current forklift licence
Good written and verbal communication, including completing quality tracking reports.
Physical fitness
Operator tickets, confined space and high-risk work licences highly regarded.
We're looking for someone who is dependable and can follow instruction, with a good attitude and solid communication skills.
