Chef
Seeking a reliable and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team in Moe, Victoria with a Full time position.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, performs well in a busy kitchen and can consistently prepare high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present meals to a consistently high standard
Complete food preparation and service efficiently
Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation
Minimise food waste and help manage food costs
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen hands and front-of-house staff
Assist with receiving and correctly storing deliveries
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
A Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery,



or an equivalent qualification
Solid food preparation and cooking skills
A sound understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
The ability to stay organised and work efficiently under pressure
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
The ability to work independently when required
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
