This job involves driving a truck, forklift, organizing accessories for delivery and delivering cabinets to numerous sites around the Townsville region.
This role will suit someone physically fit and able to manually handle deliveries of recent kitchens and household joinery.
Typically, you will drive a MR Pantech from load up in the morning to a number of jobs sites including both recent construction sites as well as existing households.
You will be required to load and unload pallets of household joinery with a LF Forklift ensuring protected loads are always transported.
You will be also required to continually make vehicle maintenance checks and keep the vehicle/ warehouse organized and tidy at all times.
This is usually a Monday to Friday position with some Saturday work as required.
Applicant must be reliable as we have a strict schedule to adhere to.
Overtime penalties apply in accordance with the current award rates.
You will have the following before applying:
MR or higher license
Current Forklift license
