The Position
A member of the executive team, and managing a small admin team, your accounting and finance knowledge is critical in providing accurate and concise reporting to management.
provide input on the upgrade to Xero from MYOB currently underway
accountability of all administration functions
assist in developing suitable management reporting
oversee and direct customer invoicing, progress claim and retention management
oversee payroll / accounts payable / data entry to ensure integrity of data
oversee procurement and negotiation with suppliers




prepare all financial reporting / cashflow / reconciliations
stay up to date with and prepare all BAS and other statutory requirements
This position works closely with managers across the business.
You will
have an accounting qualification – essential
Advanced knowledge of Xero is required
Knowledge of Procore and MRPeasy would be an asset but is not required
have excellent communication and organisational skills
be self-motivated and able to build positive working relationships
have a positive accounting knowledge preferably with experience in financial reporting and project costing
have experience in an admin management role with hands on experience overseeing admin functions
have experience preparing and lodging ATO and other statutory returns
ability to proactively work to continually improve admin processes and financial systems
be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work with confidentiality and honesty
