About the Role
About Us:
Smalls Power Poles and Linework is a leading underground and overhead electrical infrastructure contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality utility projects across NSW.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrician to work on underground/overhead high/low voltage (HV/LV) infrastructure projects.
The Role:
As an ASP ESI electrican, you will be responsible for installing, jointing, terminating, and maintaining underground and overhead infrastructure for Level 1 ASP projects.
The role requires strong technical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform HV and LV installations on both underground and overhead electrical networks
Carry out the installation of switchgear, substations, power poles, light columns on distribution network
Conduct fault finding, testing, and maintenance on electrical infrastructure
Ensure work complies with relevant safety and quality standards
Accurately complete job records, reports, and documentation
Requirements:




Certificate III in Electrotechnology OR ESI – Power Systems – Overhead distribution/Distribution Cable Jointing (or equivalent).
Overhead distribution / cable jointing experience highly regarded
Experience in LV and HV jointing (up to 33kV)
Authorised to work on Endeavour Energy network (Ausgrid and Essential Energy highly regarded)
White Card and valid driver's licence (MR/HR preferred)
Excellent understanding of safety procedures and risk management
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans
