We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering goods to customers in a timely manner, as well as assisting with general warehouse duties when not on delivery runs.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers, suppliers, or job sites.
Load and unload delivery vehicles using appropriate manual handling techniques.
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Obtain delivery confirmations, customer signatures, and handle any basic delivery inquiries.
Inspect vehicle before and after trips and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, labeling, and organizing stock.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of delivery vehicles and work areas.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Communicate with dispatch, Sales and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and updates.
Represent the company in a qualified and courteous manner at all times.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license .
Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred not essential.
Valuable physical fitness; able to lift up to *kg.
Solid communication and time management skills.
Basic knowledge of warehouse systems or inventory control a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
