We are currently seeking 2 motivated and detail-orientedElectrical Trades Assistants - Harness Makerto join our busy heavy-duty mechanical workshop.
This is a great prospect to be part of a skilled team working on a variety of mobile plant and mining equipment, with ongoing work and a supportive workshop environment.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the assembly, repair, and installation of electrical wiring harnesses for heavy-duty equipment.
Working alongside experienced HD fitters and auto electricians, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and reliable performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture and assemble electrical wiring harnesses
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Carry out repairs, fault finding, and modifications
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Assist tradespeople as required in the workshop
About You:




Previous experience in harness making or automotive/electrical TA role
Ability to read wiring diagrams (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team workplace
Experience in heavy-duty, mining, or mobile plant equipment (highly regarded)
