About Us:
Smalls Power Poles and Linework is a leading underground and overhead electrical infrastructure contractor with a robust reputation for delivering high-quality utility projects across NSW.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor with a background in electrical utility infrastructure to lead and manage civil crews on key projects.
The Role:
As the Civil Supervisor, you will oversee all civil works related to Level 1 ASP projects, including trenching, conduit installation and substation site preparation.
You'll lead site teams, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver projects to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise civil crews on underground electrical utility projects
Coordinate materials trenching, conduit installation, backfilling and reinstatement
Ensure compliance with company WHS, environmental, and quality standards
Liaise with project managers and subcontractors
Maintain daily site records and progress reports
Conduct toolbox talks and site inspections




Requirements:
Proven experience as a Civil Works Supervisor in electrical infrastructure
Solid understanding of electrical civil works (Substation site preparation, conduit systems, cable hauling)
Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
White Card and current driver's licence (MR/HR preferred)
Relevant tickets (First Aid, Endeavour Energy ESR etc.) highly regarded
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans
