The role is ideal for someone with a robust mechanical or fleet maintenance background who enjoys coordinating schedules, managing contractors, and driving operational efficiency.RoleLocated in the north‐east suburbs or Perth, you will:Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for trucks, trailers, and other fleet assets.Work closely with Fleet Control, drivers, suppliers, and contractors to minimise downtime.Conduct asset inspections and monitor maintenance performance.Manage maintenance records, reporting,



and compliance requirements.Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate cost‐effective service solutions.Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety standards and Main Roads WA requirements.About YouMechanical trade qualification or proven fleet maintenance experience.Experience in maintenance planning, fleet coordination, or a similar role.Strong knowledge of trucks, trailers, and mobile equipment.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Experience with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Excel.A proactive approach to problem‐solving and continuous improvement.What We OfferNegotiable salary and the option to commence on a temp‐to‐permanent basis or as permanent from the start.Hourly rate: $45‐$60 per hour plus super (dependent on experience/employment type).
