About the Role
We are seeking a motivatedSecretary / Paralegalto support our busy Crime Team.
You will work closely with our criminal lawyers, assisting with file management, administrative support, communication with clients and external stakeholders, and day-to-day practice operations.
Key Responsibilities
Draft correspondence, legal documents, and briefs
Liaise with clients, police prosecutors, counsel, and court staff
Manage diaries, court dates, and appointments
Prepare invoices and maintain accurate records
Assist with disclosure, file preparation, and case management
Provide general administrative and paralegal support to the team
About You
A minimum of 1 year experience in a secretarial or similar administrative role
Typing speed of * words per minute
A high level of English skills,



with excellent grammar and attention to detail
Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
Confident communication skills and a professional, calm approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
A proactive attitude and genuine interest in criminal law
Minimum Year 12 completion
