HIA is currently seekingExpressions of Interestfor theBricklaying Job Ready Program(BJRP) in the Geraldton area.
This is afree training and job‐preparation programdesigned to help participants become job ready and connect with bricklaying apprenticeship prospects in the residential construction industry.
About the BJRP
The Bricklaying Job Ready Program is a4‐week programthat includes:
3 weeks of TAFE training, including White Card and basic bricklaying skills
4‐day industry work placement on a live construction site
Exposure to industry employers who may have apprenticeship or employment opportunities




Successful completion of the program may lead to referral to apprenticeship or employment opportunities, subject to suitability and employer needs.
Who Should Register Interest
Are school leavers, career starters, people entering the workforce or a trade for the first time or people seeking a career change
Want a hands‐on, outdoor career in construction
Are interested in bricklaying as a career pathway
Live in or near theGeraldtonarea
Are motivated, reliable and ready to participate in both training and on‐site work placement
