Full Time Fixed Term - 3 months contract
This position is based in Girraween

The Warehouse Assistant role is responsible for ensuring that all samples effectively pass through the laboratory in an orderly fashion, that they are easily accessible by laboratory staff, and that they are removed from refrigeration and put in storage or disposed of once completed.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the role will focus on:
Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch
Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, secure work practices, and company policies
Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records using the ERP system
Use the ERP system to manage goods receipt, stock movements, purchase orders, traceability, and reporting
Liaise with suppliers to identify products, confirm specifications, resolve supply issues, and support procurement activities
Work closely with internal stakeholders (operations, laboratories, logistics, finance) to align warehouse activities with business needs
Ensure timely availability of consumables and materials to support operational demand
Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping and organisation

Qualifications




Manual Handling Certificate (desirable)
Fork Lifting License
Previous experience in procurement systems like Coupa or similar (highly desirable)

On the job training will be provided, along with the use of our systems and programs.

Previous exposure to a warehouse workplace would hold you in valuable stead, however our successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done
