The Role
Seeking a Safety Management Engineer to support Defence aviation capability through the delivery of system safety engineering services across complex acquisition and sustainment environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain system safety plans, specifications, procedures and reports
Conduct system safety analysis,



verification and validation activities
Support hazard identification, risk assessment and certification activities
Review technical designs and engineering deliverables from a safety perspective
Provide system safety engineering advice in accordance with Defence standards and requirements
Required
Degree-qualified Engineer recognised under the Washington Accord
Chartered Qualified Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent
Experience developing and implementing safety management plans within Defence or complex engineering settings
Experience conducting system safety analysis, hazard assessments and certification activities
Minimum 12 months' experience within a materiel system safety program
Current NV1 Security Clearance
