Boomaroo Nurseries is a world-class vegetable seedling producer, supplying more than 300 million seedlings to growers across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, the ACT, Tasmania and South Australia.

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment across our offices, amenities, lunchrooms and shared facilities. This is a casual position offering regular work.

About the role:

- Clean offices, lunchrooms, bathrooms, meeting rooms and shared areas;
- Sweep, vacuum and mop floors and high-traffic areas;
- Clean and sanitise benchtops, sinks, desks, doors, handles and other high-touch surfaces;
- Clean toilets and bathroom facilities and replenish paper towel, soap and toilet paper;
- Empty bins and correctly separate general waste and recycling;
- Empty, clean and refill boot dips in accordance with biosecurity requirements;
- Complete periodic detailed cleaning of windows, walls, doors, offices and external paths;
- Monitor cleaning supplies and arrange replenishment when required;
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment;
- Report hazards, maintenance issues, damaged equipment and supply shortages; and
- Assist with general duties around the nursery when required.





About you:

- Previous experience in commercial, industrial, residential or similar cleaning work;
- Knowledge of safe cleaning methods, chemicals and sanitation practices;
- Experience using polishers, scrubbers or floor buffers is highly desirable;
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness;
- Valuable time-management and organisational skills;
- Able to work independently and follow established schedules and procedures;
- Reliable, flexible and willing to assist in different areas when required;
- Able to communicate effectively and report issues promptly;
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive cleaning duties and lifting approximately 5–10 kg.

This position would suit someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to completing their work safely and to a high standard.
