We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Logistics / Yard Person to join our Broome team. This role supports daily pearling operations and involves a mix of yard work, logistics, and general support tasks.

It’s a practical, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a close team.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and dispatch goods across yards and sheds
- Support fleet and farm operations
- Check invoices and freight against orders
- Coordinate loading and unloading with vessel skippers
- Assist with vessel unloading and crew transfers at Broome Jetty
- Deliver boats to and from the ramp
- Pick up and deliver goods
- Keep the yard and sheds clean and organised
- Assist with cyclone preparation
- Maintain company vehicles
- Support monthly stocktakes
- Assist with general workshop duties

Operations Support





- Assist with loading/unloading seaplanes
- Ensure staff are ready for departures
- Support staff movements (including 80 Mile and Gourdon Bay)
- Assist with evacuations and logistics when required

General Duties

- Basic repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Other duties as directed by the Broome Operations Manager

- Reliable and proactive
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Organised with positive attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in a physical role
- Neat and presentable

Licences & Requirements

- Current Driver’s Licence (HR and F endorsement preferred)
- ASIC and MSIC (or willingness to obtain)
