What you can expect in a day in the role

Under the supervision of the head chef, you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen assisting with the following:

- Washing dishes, utensils, and cookware, ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary
- Assisting chefs by chopping, peeling, or preparing ingredients
- unpacking and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Running errands in the kitchen, helping with plating dishes, or carrying out other tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor.

- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Adaptable and adaptable with excellent time management skills
