What does a typical day look like in a Shop? In your 4-hour shift (or more if you like) you’ll be doing a variety of tasks like:

- Welcoming and engaging customers
- Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and eftpos payments
- Sorting and pricing donations
- Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers
- Keeping the shop clean and tidy
- Following all shop processes

What skills do you need?

- Friendly and positive attitude
- Sociable and engaging with others
- Happy to work as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks
- Commitment to your nominated shift

You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16) Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross) You will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program
