The Role

Excellent opportunity for training and development for a Trade Assistant to work as a part our IKAD Team. Located in Henderson (no FIFO) you will be reporting to the the Project Supervisor to carry out the following duties;

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, your key duties will include;

- Perform general hand and labouring duties.
- Assist trades level employees directly with all aspects of work to be undertaken on a day to day basis.
- Operate hand tools specifically grinders as required to undertake nominated tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop, machinery and tools, ensuring all tools and equipment are used and stored safely and correctly.
- Complete all paperwork and computer records accurately and as required.
- Utilise all safety equipment, tools and machinery in accordance with processes.




- Continually work with the team to engage in internal training provided to obtain the appropriate skills and experience to safely and competently perform and evolve with the role.
- Assist trades level employees in the performance of fault/maintenance diagnostic, compiling test data for reporting, identifying abnormalities in test results, suspected non-conformance and solution finding.
- Assist with the compilation of test data for reporting, identifying abnormalities in test results or any suspected non-conformance and solution finding.
- Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed.

You

To be successful for the role of Trade Assistant you will need:

- Previous Trade Assistant experience highly regarded;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Positive knowledge of power tools
- Willingness to learn and be flexible with duties;
- Proven strong work ethic and reliability;
- Willingness to work overtime;
- Eagerness to learn and work with a small team with adaptability to various tasks required;
- Forklift ticket, Dogman, Rigger ticket required (desirable)
- Overhead Crane ticket (desirable)
- White card (preferred or willing to get)
- National Police Clearance within 3 months
