We're looking for a Residential Services Manager to lead our Whyalla Residential Care Homes. This is a senior leadership opportunity will see you influence resident outcomes, develop and support high-performing teams and contribute to a strong, connected local community.

Based across our Whyalla Residential Care Homes (Yeltana and Copper House Court), as our Residential Services Manager you will lead the delivery of person-centred care and services while maintaining overall quality, financial and operational accountability.
You will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality services in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards through effective management and leadership of people, resources and operational performance. Your experience, expertise and leadership will play an important role in ensuring Helping Hand continues to deliver exceptional outcomes for residents, families and employees.
You'll also make an impact by:
- Leading and coordinating the ongoing evaluation and improvement of residential services, systems and processes to deliver resident-focused outcomes.
- Providing effective leadership and management to direct reports and the wider workforce, including coaching, development, succession planning and performance management.
- Establishing and maintaining a positive workforce culture aligned to organisational values and focused on delivering exceptional consumer outcomes.
- Driving operational excellence,
quality outcomes and compliance across both residential care homes.
- Managing financial performance, resources and budgets to ensure sustainable service delivery.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Formal qualifications in health, aged care, business, management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive experience delivering person-centred services within a health, aged care or related environment.
- Strong leadership and management experience in a complex operational setting, with a demonstrated ability to build, develop and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation and with external stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams through change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance, including budget development, monitoring and achieving service outcomes.
- Experience managing quality, risk, compliance and governance requirements within aged care or health services.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
Accommodation
Considering a move for this opportunity? To support your relocation, a staff accommodation unit is provided for three months to help you settle into your new role and community.
The unit includes a bedroom with ensuite, lounge and dining facilities, a small kitchenette, a small outside area, TV and WiFi access. A shared kitchen with oven and large fridge, along with laundry facilities, is also provided within the complex.
The complex is located 200 metres from the local beach and within walking distance of Yeltana Residential Care Home. Copper House Court Residential Care Home, is a short car ride away.
Public transport services are available, with shopping facilities also within walking distance.
The location offers a great combination of community atmosphere, privacy and independence.
Vehicle
To assist with relocation and travel requirements, a vehicle will be available to support travel between Whyalla and Adelaide where required.
