Brisbane

We build the infrastructure the internet actually runs on.

Most people don’t think about what happens when a video call connects Sydney to Singapore in under 50 milliseconds, or how a cloud file reaches a data centre on the other side of the world in the blink of an eye. The answer is almost always an undersea cable - and building those cables is exactly what SUBCO does.

We build, own and operate high-capacity submarine cable systems linking Australia to Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. The internet’s backbone isn’t in the cloud. It’s on the ocean floor - and we put it there.

You’ll work on things that matter at scale.

SUBCO is an Australian-owned scaleup at an inflection point. We’re not a startup finding its feet, and we’re not a slow-moving incumbent. We’re a fast-growing team of specialists doing infrastructure work that shapes how entire regions connect to the global digital economy.
