About the role

We are seeking a Solicitor (2‑3 PQE) with a litigation background, to join our leading Dispute Resolution team in Brisbane. Working under the guidance of Emma Costello, Partner in Charge of our Brisbane office and Jasmine Forde, this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within a top‑tier firm, working on high‑profile matters in a friendly and supportive team environment. This role will see you involved in a variety of challenging, high‑profile litigation and dispute resolution work which sets the pace in the market. These include class actions, regulatory disputes and a variety of matters arising out of Mallesons commercial and banking client base.

Qualifications

- Excellent analytical, communication and research skills – to contribute to the delivery of prompt and commercially astute advice.
- First rate experience of drafting documents (including pleadings, submissions, witness statements, affidavits, etc).
- Experience in litigation, assisting clients in the negotiation, resolution and settlement of complex disputes.




- Strong commitment to client service and well‑developed relationship management ability – you will play a role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with clients.
- Team focus – to facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships.
- A willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI‑enabled legal tools, as part of your ongoing professional development.
- If you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you must hold all visas and other approvals necessary to work for the firm in Australia.
