Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking to join a well-established team working on critical equipment for the mining industry? We are currently seeking an experienced fitter to join our workshop-based team , specialising in the repair, service and overhaul of submersible pumps .

About the Role:
Working in a clean and safety-focused workshop environment, your core responsibilities will include:
- Stripping down, inspecting, and diagnosing faults in submersible pumps
- Repairing and reassembling pumps to manufacturer specifications
- Performing maintenance on a wide range of mechanical components
- Conducting pressure and performance testing post-repair
- Maintaining detailed job records and reports
- Working collaboratively with supervisors and fellow tradespeople to ensure fast turnaround times
What We’re Looking For:
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner; will also consider a skilled TA who has had exposure to pumps
- Proven experience working on submersible pumps or similar rotating equipment desirable
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Safety-first mindset and commitment to workshop best practices
- Forklift ticket desirable
- Previous mining or heavy industry experience desirable
