About the role:

Construction works have commenced for the highly anticipated Swan Active Ellenbrook, and we are seeking an experienced full‑time Human Resources professional to lead the way until 30 June 2027 in attracting, recruiting, and retaining the team that will bring this leisure centre to life. This is a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven project role for someone who thrives on volume, variety, and visibility.

As the HR Project Partner, you'll drive the end‑to‑end recruitment strategy for the centre's opening, as well as assisting with general HR service delivery and administrative functions as this position will work collaboratively within the People Services team. You'll work closely with operational stakeholders to provide guidance around recruitment and HR practices and also be the face of our employer brand when presenting to candidate groups about what makes a career in Local Government, and at Swan Active, worth pursuing.

We're looking for someone who brings strong existing recruitment expertise but is just as willing to learn, adapt, and contribute to our established HR processes. You'll need excellent administration and customer service skills, a genuine can‑do attitude, and the confidence to present and facilitate in front of groups, whether that's running information sessions or guiding candidates through what to expect.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:





- Coordinating and administering the recruitment strategy and schedule, including recruitment and onboarding of new employees
- Assisting in the development and delivery of an induction plan tailored to the leisure centre's operational requirements
- Building solid relationships with stakeholders and providing timely, practical HR and recruitment advice
- Assisting the People Services team with day‑to‑day HR operations, practices and functions

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Experience in end‑to‑end recruitment
- Experience in high volume recruitment and associated practices will be highly regarded
- Well‑developed organisational and administration skills
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate

About working with us:

The salary for this position will be from $84,485.93 to $100,282.66 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
