As part of this continued growth and expansion of our capabilities in South Australia we are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities will include:

- Service Improvement: Delivering and supporting the improvement and expansion of services.
- Pre-Employment Medicals: Assessing new talent to ensure a safe start.
- Health Monitoring: Conducting regular surveillance to protect long-term wellbeing.
- Drug & Alcohol Testing: Performing screening in line with Australian standards.
- Specialist Testing: Conducting Audiometry (hearing), Vision screening, and Spirometry (lung function) assessments.
- Functional Assessments: Evaluating physical capabilities relative to job requirements.

Role requirements

It is desirable that the successful applicant brings the following to the role:

- Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) is mandatory for this role.
- Certifications: Ideally, you hold current certifications in Audiometry and Spirometry (or a willingness to obtain them). First Aid/ CPR required along with a police check.
- Experience: While previous Occupational Health experience is beneficial, it is not essential. We will provide comprehensive and extensive training for all required assessment types, including drug and alcohol testing, audiometry, vision, spirometry, and functional assessments.
- Autonomy: The ability to manage your schedule and conduct assessments independently across multiple sites.
- Communication: A friendly, professional manner and the ability to explain health results clearly to employees.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to travel between our Adelaide locations.
