Beauty Parlour & Pamper Sessions at Daw Park Residential Care Home

Step into a calm, nurturing space where you can help residents feel relaxed, cared for, and beautifully connected. As a volunteer in our pamper sessions at HammondCare Daw Park, you’ll offer gentle companionship while providing simple, soothing beauty experiences.

You’ll spend time chatting with residents, listening to their stories, sharing quiet moments, or enjoying calming music together. With training provided in gentle hand massage and simple nail care — like filing or adding a splash of nail polish — you’ll help create moments of comfort, dignity, and joy.

This role is all about kindness, presence, and the power of a warm, caring touch. It’s a lovely way to brighten someone’s day while offering a peaceful, pampering experience.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring outstanding joy to the clients you are matched with.

Requirements

18 years or older • NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

The commitment is one hour per week or fortnight for a minimum of 6 months. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week (Monday to Friday).
