Sweet Moments & Warm Chats â Coffee and Cake Companion
Make a Meaningful Difference in Someoneâs Day
Are you someone who enjoys a warm chat or spending unhurried time with someone over coffee and cake?
Weâre looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to visit a thoughtful elderly lady who has been feeling a little lonely and would truly appreciate a friendly face. Your presence can bring comfort, connection, and joy.
A relaxed visit, a shared story, or a simple cuppa together has the power to brighten her day and lift her spirits in a way that really matters.
What you might do during your visits:
- Share a cuppa and enjoy a friendly conversation
- Enjoy coffee and cake together
- Chat about life, family, hobbies, and treasured memories
- Look through magazines or photo albums together
- Provide companionship and a listening ear
- Share laughter, stories, and meaningful moments
A little of your time can make a big difference, helping someone feel valued, connected, and cared for.
If you enjoy good conversation and creating warm, meaningful connections, this could be the perfect volunteer prospect for you.

Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.
