The Role
As our Planning Enforcement Officer, you'll play a key role in protecting and enhancing the amenity of the Moorabool Shire by ensuring compliance with planning legislation and the Moorabool Planning Scheme. You'll investigate planning matters, undertake site inspections, provide expert advice to the community, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve practical and fair planning outcomes. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines technical expertise, problem-solving, customer service and field-based work, making a real impact on our growing community.

About You
You're a motivated planning professional with a sound understanding of the Victorian planning system and a passion for achieving positive community outcomes. You have robust investigative and problem-solving skills, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, and can confidently navigate complex planning matters with professionalism and integrity. Organised and customer focused, you enjoy working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, balancing office based work with site inspections to deliver practical, timely outcomes.
