Intermediate to Senior Insolvency Accountant

About Us

We are a growing professional services firm specialising in corporate insolvency, restructuring, and business recovery services. Our team works closely with businesses, directors, creditors, and stakeholders to provide practical solutions and achieve the best possible outcomes during financially challenging situations.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Intermediate Insolvency Accountant to join our team and support a diverse portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency engagements.

The Opportunity

Reporting to a Manager and Partner, you will gain exposure to a broad range of insolvency and restructuring matters while developing your technical and commercial skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the administration of corporate and personal insolvency appointments, including liquidations, voluntary administrations, bankruptcies, and receiverships.
- Conduct investigations into company affairs and financial transactions.
- Prepare statutory reports and correspondence for creditors, ASIC, and other stakeholders.
- Analyse financial records and identify potential recovery actions.
- Manage creditor and stakeholder communications.
- Maintain appointment files and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Prepare receipts and payments reconciliations and other accounting reports.
- Support senior staff with restructuring and advisory engagements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 2-4 years' experience in insolvency, restructuring,



or business recovery.
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Progress towards or completion of CA or CPA qualifications.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
