Ongoing Full-Time About the Role: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health equity is central to how the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) delivers care. At Lyell McEwin Health Service, this Team Leader role places you at the forefront of that commitment

- leading a dedicated team of Aboriginal Health Practitioners and shaping culturally grounded care for communities across Adelaide's north.

Your Role at Lyell McEwin Reporting within the Aboriginal Health Unit, you will provide clinical and operational leadership that strengthens the health outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families. Your key responsibilities will include: Supervising, mentoring, and supporting a team of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners in their day-to-day clinical practice Coordinating culturally safe care pathways across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings at Lyell McEwin Health Service Building and maintaining relationships with community organisations, Elders, and families to support holistic patient journeys Contributing to workforce development, quality improvement, and the implementation of NALHN's Aboriginal Health strategy What

You Bring Current registration or accreditation as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner with AHPRA Demonstrated experience providing leadership or supervision within an Aboriginal health or primary health care context Strong knowledge of the social, cultural, and historical determinants affecting the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples Proven ability to work in partnership with Aboriginal communities, families, and multidisciplinary clinical teams Experience navigating complex health systems to advocate effectively for patients Alignment with SA Health's commitment to Aboriginal health equity and cultural safety frameworks To be eligible for this position, you must have Diploma, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice) or equivalent. Hold registration with the ATSIHPBA.
