The Role Reporting to the Assistant Secretary, Finance Branch, the Director, Finance Business Partner is responsible for enabling DEWR to deliver against its business outcomes by providing high-quality, timely and strategic financial services and advice whilst ensuring DEWR meets its statutory financial management obligations.
The current vacancy would have specific responsibility for leading the team that provides Finance Business Partner services to our two IT divisions. The IT divisions in the department provide a number of shared services across governance and therefore a robust commercial understanding would be beneficial in this role.
