As a Project Scheduler you will be supporting key EW projects within EWIS delivering and sustaining critical Defence capability in support of Australia's war fighters in executing Defence's mission to defend Australia and its national interests.
You will bring your scheduling expertise and experience to coordinate the various elements required to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Sequencing approved workpacks during dockings to ensure logical flow and adherence to dependencies
- Deconflicting work activities to ensure safe and efficient execution
- Maintaining and updating the integrated docking schedule
- Adjusting schedules in response to new defects or work-in-way
- Maintaining an accurate forecast of remaining work and docking progress.
- Identifying schedule risks and opportunities, and recommending effective mitigation strategies
- Support with schedule impact analysis and forecasting
- Provide high-quality inputs and analysis for internal and client reporting
Qualifications
- Experience in planning and/or project scheduling, preferably within Defence but other industries will be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with OPP/MS Project or similar scheduling tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
- Australian citizenship with NV2 (preferred) security clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Able to influence and guide clients
- Team player, flexible and ability to work under pressure to deliver quality products to deadlines
- As a Defence security clearance is required for this role,
applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
