Role Description

The Retail Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubbo, NSW. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff supervision, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, safe, and well-presented.
The Retail Manager will lead and motivate the team, manage rosters, provide coaching, and support performance to meet sales and customer satisfaction targets. Daily tasks include monitoring sales performance, managing inventory and stock levels, handling customer inquiries and escalations,



and implementing merchandising and promotional activities.

The Retail Manager will also ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of store processes.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to engage with diverse customers and team members.
- Proven customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with experience resolving issues and building positive long-term customer relationships.
- Demonstrated team management capability, including staff supervision, coaching, and performance support in a retail or similar setting.
- Sales skills with experience meeting or exceeding targets, using data to drive performance, and supporting promotional activities.
- Experience in retail management or supervisory roles, with solid knowledge of store operations, merchandising, and inventory control.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubbo, NSW, with a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends or public holidays as required.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
- Relevant vocational training or qualifications in retail, business, or management are beneficial; prior experience in Australian retail environments is an advantage.
