Your new company Hays is partnered with an Australian infrastructure organisation responsible for delivering and maintaining critical energy assets that support communities, businesses and industries across the country. Your new role
- Make travel and accommodation bookings in accordance with Travel Policy and processes.
- Work with Procurement and Purchasing functions to ensure timely engagement of contractors and purchase of materials and equipment, including raising of purchase requisitions.
- Processing expense claims.
- Ordering and collection of IT equipment for starters and leavers.
- Ordering, allocation and monitoring of project team equipment.
- Arranging and performing site inductions.
- Arrange and attend meetings, taking and distributing meeting minutes as required.
- Assist in the development of project documentation and reporting including updates and presentations.
- Update and maintain the project databases with information on projects, including project details, achievements and risks.
- Follow up document workflow actions.
- Undertake all activities with a continuous improvement mindset.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar project administration
- Demonstrated competency and experience in supporting the development and execution of engineering projects
- Experience in supporting engineering and project management teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of proficiency with computer systems, particularly MS Word, Excel and Power Point
- Experience working in the Microsoft Share Point environment
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise own workload
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
