About the position:
This Monday - Friday, 5 hours per day position makes this perfect for someone looking for work-life balance. You will be the heart of the centre. Position requirements:
- Friendly and positive attitude;
- Experience working with strict dietary requirements (allergy knowledge essential)
- Excellent time management and verbal communication skills;
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting will be highly regarded but not essential; and
- HLTFSE001 – Follow Basic Food Safety Practices
HLTFSE005 – Apply and Monitor Food Safety Requirements
HLTFSE007 – Oversee the Day-to-Day Implementation of Food Safety in the Workplace
SITXFSA005 - Food Handlers

Online - Do food safely course
- Certificate III in early education and care desirable but not essential.
- A valid working with children card (or ability to obtain);
- Food handling/safety certificate desirable but not essential;
What you’ll do:
- Prepare meals for large groups and meet special dietary requirements of the children with allergies;
- Menu planning, budget, and ordering;
- Maintain the environment in line with One Tree’s Food Safety Program;
