Your new company Hays Recruitment partners with leading accommodation and catering providers operating across Western Australia. We support major sites throughout the Pilbara and Goldfields regions and are actively seeking experienced chefs to join our client's team.

Your new role

You will need to be a Trade-Qualified Chef possessing a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). These are bulk catering positions, and you will be required to work both day and night shifts, in various mining camps within the Pilbara and Goldfields.

These are generally 2:1 or 1:1 rosters, working 10–12 hours per day.

All roles fly in and out of Perth, therefore successful candidates need to be situated in WA and be available on short notice.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, chefs with bulk catering experience are either in FIFO or Metro roles.





- Be qualified with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance (Hyas paid).
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Be willing to complete inductions.
- Provide two contactable references within the last 12 months.
- Be able to pass a medical with a fitness assessment and consistent drug and alcohol tests.
- Situated in WA and being able to fly in and out through Perth Airport.
