Findlay Machining, a family-run business, is seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter / Machinist to join our team. We have multiple roles within our team available to best suit your skills, with machines from surface grinders, to machining centres & CNC Lathes.

Our Machine Shop houses the following:

- 3 & 4 Axis CNC Machining centres
- 2 Axis CNC Lathes
- 4 Axis CNC Lathes with live tooling
- Conventional Lathes
- Conventional Milling Machines
- EDM Wire Cutting
- EDM Spark Erosion
- Surface Grinding
- Cylindrical Grinding

Responsibilities:

- Operate CNC mills and lathes
- Operate conventional mills and lathes, surface grinders
- Operate EDM machines
- Measure and inspect parts




- Read and interpret drawings and selecting appropriate tooling and methods
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to production equipment and machinery

Requirements:

- Trade certification as a Fitter / Machinist or relevant experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Drivers license preferred, however not essential
