The Team
This position will work over multiple sites, predominantly Millbrook Rise Centre (New Norfolk) and Mistral Place (Hobart). Millbrook Rise Centre and Mistral Place are collaborative teams that works with our consumers, their friends and families in a consumers individualised recovery journey. The psychologist will play a central role as part the multidisciplinary team to assist stakeholders in the journey.
The Role
You will undertake the delivery of quality care to clients of the Adult Inpatient and Extended Treatment Mental Health Service based on best practice principles and within a team-oriented and multi-disciplinary framework. You will also work within your role as an individual and as part of a Multidisciplinary Team to provide a specialist assessment and treatment service to clients of Adult Inpatient and Extended Treatment Mental Health Service and their families or carers. You will need: Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through the provision of assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers. Provision of evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs and/or specialised reports. Function as an active member of a multidisciplinary team including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
Salary $117,272 to $126,182 per annum (pro-rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2025.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances
Please note that access to salaries beyond $123,487 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria. Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
