The Role

Due to continued project demand, our client is seeking a Test & Verification Engineer to support the planning, execution, and reporting of Verification & Validation activities across complex engineering systems. You will work closely with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure requirements are successfully verified and validated

Duties & Responsibilities

- Develop Verification & Validation plans, procedures, compliance matrices, and test documentation
- Conduct system, subsystem, integration, environmental, and acceptance testing activities
- Analyse test outcomes, perform root cause investigations, and support corrective actions
- Maintain verification traceability and compliance evidence throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare verification reports, customer documentation, and regulatory compliance artefacts
- Support design reviews, technical risk assessments, and engineering change activities

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Australian Citizenship (Baseline Clearance advantageous)
- Experience delivering Verification & Validation activities on complex engineering systems
- Experience developing test plans, procedures, verification matrices, and compliance documentation
- Experience performing system integration, functional, environmental, and acceptance testing
- Experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS or Polarion
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers

Ideal

- Eligible for NER and CPEng with Engineers Australia
- Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, or Heavy Vehicle industry experience
- Knowledge of Defence standards and verification compliance processes
