About the Role: Specialised Laboratory Soil / Rock Testing Technician

As a permanent member of our laboratory operations team, you’ll conduct specialised soil and rock testing procedures and collaborate with colleagues. Construction Sciences offers more than a job; it’s a platform for growth, providing stimulating laboratory-based work and a long-term career.

Responsibilities

- Conduct daily soil & rock testing procedures, adhering to industry standards
- Generate comprehensive client test reports
- Support the setup and maintenance of equipment
- Utilise exceptional organisational and problem‑solving skills to address challenges effectively
- Maintain a customer‑centric approach with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding client needs
- Liaise with clients when required

About You

- Knowledge and application of soil or rock testing methodologies and industry standards




- Certification such as Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (or equivalent), highly regarded
- Exceptional organisational and problem‑solving abilities to address challenges effectively
- A customer‑centric approach with a robust commitment to meeting and exceeding client needs
- A dedicated focus on safety protocols
- The capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team
