What you will be doing
In this exciting 6-month fixed term opportunity, this project will require you to lead the implementation of centralised scheduling across our Clinical Services team while coordinating day-to-day rostering activities for a multidisciplinary workforce. By balancing customer needs, clinician availability, travel requirements and workforce capacity, you'll help keep services safe, reliable and sustainable.
In This Role, You’ll
- Lead the implementation and ongoing success of centralised clinical scheduling
- Deliver end-to-end rostering for multidisciplinary clinical teams across multiple regions
- Build strong working relationships with Care Partners and referral sources to ensure services are scheduled effectively
- Optimise clinician travel, routing and workforce utilisation to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary travel
- Use systems such as AlayaCare and workforce analytics tools to make informed scheduling decisions
- Proactively plan for leave, training, public holidays and other activities that impact workforce availability
- Coordinate roster changes, urgent service requirements, cancellations and unplanned absences
- Investigate and resolve scheduling issues, escalations and roster-related discrepancies
- Support continuous improvement and help embed best-practice scheduling processes across the business

You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in project implementation role combined with experience in scheduling or rostering within a medium to large service delivery environment
- Experience in clinical services, aged care, community services or a similar sector
- Experience supporting operational change and implementing new ways of working
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and rostering platforms, with AlayaCare highly regarded
- Experience using workforce analytics and reporting tools
- Travel planning and route optimisation experience
- Workforce planning knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capability
- Experience interpreting Modern Awards, with HPSS Award experience desirable
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to stay calm, adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong Microsoft Office and systems capability
- A willingness to complete the required criminal history checks
