Our client is a leading Australian non-bank lender who provide rapid, flexible funding solutions to SME's. Specialising in invoice finance, equipment finance and business loans, they partner with brokers and also directly with businesses to solve cashflow challenges and support growth.
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join their high-performing Invoice Finance team in Sydney. This role sits at the intersection of client management, deal execution and revenue growth. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients, working closely with BDMs, brokers and internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience while identifying opportunities to grow the relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of SME lending clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and ongoing support
- Work closely with BDM's and brokers to onboard new clients
- Analyse and interpret financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet, cashflow, etc.)
- Coordinate deals from origination through to settlement
- Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across products
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting
- Liaise with credit, settlements and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of deals and funding
- Conduct regular client reviews to strengthen retention and satisfaction
About You
- A background in invoice/debtor finance lending is essential
- Proven experience in client relationship management, account management or BDM support
- Strong ability to read and interpret company financials
- Commercial mindset with a focus on growth and client outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
