You’ll become part of a close‑knit finance team led by a highly experienced CFO who has been with the business for over 20 years. Passionate about mentoring and developing people, the CFO is looking for someone eager to learn, contribute and grow into a well‑rounded accounting professional.

The Opportunity
- Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll support the day‑to‑day finance function while gaining broad exposure across all aspects of accounting.
- Manage end‑to‑end AP and AR processes, including payment runs, debtor follow‑ups.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and analysis.
- Prepare monthly management reports including sales analysis, GP margins, cost analysis, and budget variance commentary for leadership and external stakeholders.
- Compliance & statutory reporting - BAS, PAYG, FBT returns and income tax.
- Budgeting, forecasting & Cash flow analysis - Assist with annual budgeting, capex management, and ongoing budget analysis/forecasting.
- Systems & ERP management - Maintain and improve the ERP system.
- Stakeholder collaboration – Partner with Operations, Marketing, Customer Service and Leadership teams to ensure accurate billing, rebates, reporting and commercial insights.

About You

Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Approximately 1–3 years’ accounting experience.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or construction will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- A positive, collaborative and hands‑on approach to work.
- Exposure to ERP systems will be advantageous
- Currently studying towards, or interested in commencing, your CA or CPA (not essential).
