Founded in 2015, Impact Seed is a leading WA impact advisory firm and the state's only dedicated capacity builder for the social enterprise, impact investment and social innovation ecosystems.

Across Impact Advisory, Enterprise Development, Impact Investment and Advocacy, we support impact from design through to delivery, generating measurable outcomes for communities and Country.

In 2026, our team is growing. Our capacity-building program, Impact 2 Innovate, works across diverse industries to help business leaders navigate markets, business models and growth challenges. Support is hands-on and designed to equip purpose-driven businesses with the tools, strategies and networks they need to succeed.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, project-based team and enjoys working across sectors. You will provide practical, hands-on support to First Nations and non-Indigenous purpose-driven enterprises, helping them refine business models, explore revenue opportunities and build the leadership capability needed to scale.





The role involves occasional travel across Western Australia to work directly with enterprise partners and communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Advisory: Provide small business leaders with practical advice on strategy, operations and organisational troubleshooting.
- Strategic Planning: Develop key planning tools, including business plans, feasibility analyses and financial models.
- Business Opportunity Identification: Identify new market opportunities through practical industry and market research and analysis.

About You – Skills, Experience & Attributes

Must-Have:

- Commercially savvy: Experience growing competitive businesses across multiple industries.
- Small and medium business experience: Experience working at a strategic level in competitive, resource-constrained business environments.
- Strategic planning: Experience developing and using planning tools such as business plans, marketing plans, feasibility analyses and financial plans, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Adaptive approach: Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients, capabilities and contexts.
- Cultural capability:



Demonstrated experience working effectively alongside First Nations organisations, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Self-starter: Comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities and taking initiative to drive projects forward.

Nice-to-Haves:

- Regional Perspective : Experience living and working in regional Western Australia.
- Investment readiness experience : Exposure to social finance, impact investing or investment readiness programs.
- Coaching and facilitation : Strong skills in facilitation, mentoring, coaching or capability building.
