As our Senior Communications and Marketing Officer, you'll create compelling communications that keep our community informed, build trust and showcase the work we do every day. From strategic campaigns to media, digital content and community events, you'll play a key role in how people connect with City of Clarence.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead communications and marketing campaigns that promote City of Clarence's services, projects and community initiatives.

- Create engaging content across digital, print, media and social channels that informs and connects with our community.

- Provide trusted communications, marketing and media advice to leaders and teams across the organisation.

- Manage proactive and reactive media activities, preparing media releases, speeches, briefings and communication materials.

- Support community engagement activities, civic events and key organisational projects with high-quality communications.

- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of City of Clarence's digital communications, identifying new opportunities to engage our community.

What you’ll bring

- Qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field, together with significant relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering successful communications and marketing strategies, campaigns or projects.
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and channels.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills,



with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Experience developing digital content and using websites, social media and other communication platforms to engage audiences.
- National police check certificate dated within 6 months and provided prior to commencement.
