Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive performance across our production facility.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader to take responsibility for production planning, operational performance, team leadership and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Group Production Manager, you will oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You will play a key role in leading Team Leaders and production staff, managing resources, resolving production roadblocks and driving a culture of accountability, teamwork and ongoing improvement. The role aligns with responsibilities including production scheduling, resourcing, quality management, team leadership, communication, performance management and operational efficiency.

About You

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong production planning, scheduling and resource management experience
- Proven experience leading and developing teams within a manufacturing, industrial, logistics or production environment
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance, productivity and efficiency
- Experience managing production targets, labour utilisation and workflow planning
- Strong understanding of quality systems, continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop leaders and team members
- Experience managing performance, attendance and workplace behaviour matters
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining high operational standards

Manufacturing leadership experience is essential; industry-specific cabinetmaking experience is not required .
